Why does God allow suffering?

Why does it sometimes seem like God doesn’t answer our prayers? These are the questions that cause us to stop and wonder about life in this “valley of tears.” Suffering is caused by sin and sin is part of our free will. Sometimes God is asking us to amend our lives or it has to do with our salvation.The Fatima message calls us to offer up our sufferings as a sign of our commitment to Christ that we will pick up our crosses daily and follow Him.
